New York Requirements for Real Estate Continuing Education – Broker and Sales Licensees

The Real Estate Career Institute is an approved continuing education provider in the state of New York and all our courses are ARELLO approved.  Continuing Education and License Renewal Date is every two (2) years of license anniversary date.

A total of 22.5 hours must be completed at that time.  Of the 22.5 hours, 3 credit hours must be in a Required Fair Housing course, as well as at least 2 hours in a Required Law of Agency course. The remaining hours can be in electives.  RECI offers these approved courses that will fulfill your requirements.

New York Department of Real Estate requires that all students spend a minimum amount of seat time engaged in the course content.  The online course delivery system manages this requirement for students.

Real estate course completions are reported to the New York Department of State weekly, each Friday.  New York is an audit state and does not require hours to be posted to your license before you renew.

Final test must be passed with a 75% and may be taken as many times as necessary in order to pass. Students will receive an electronic certificate of completion, upon completion of the course.

For License Renewal log-in to the licensing system online and follow the prompts to renew.
